family pictures

One of our good friends, Brenley is a photographer. She and her family came up to visit and take pictures of our family. She did an amazing job. I thought I would share some of the pictures that were taken. I am having a really hard time deciding which pictures I want to have printed. So let me know your picks.

Sarge the dog

So we have been talking about getting a dog for a while. Of course I never planned on getting one a week before we left for Disneyland but it is what it is. He was the right dog for us so we are excited that he is the newest member of the family. So far he has been a really good dog. He listens pretty well and is quite mellow for a puppy.
I love his brown and black coloring. When I was little I had a dog that was this same coloring and I love it. I have always wanted another dog with this same coloring. So I think Sarge is really cute. Anyway, Sarge plays great with the kids and is my protector at night when Benson is off protecting Portland.

carving our masterpieces

Brooklyn only has 1/2 days at school this week. When she got home from school on Monday we decided to carve our pumpkins. We thought it would be best to do while Ryan napped. I know he would have had a lot of fun but I wouldn't have. The kids had a lot of fun carving their pumpkins. Jeremy went all creative thinking artsy on us. He wanted no help and no pattern. In the end he said it was a race car whose tire had blown out. He loves it so the rest of us do to.

Brooklyn carved a ghost. She did a really good job and only needed a little bit of help. It was quite impressive.
I guess I need to light them tonight and take a picture of all of them. They all turned out really good.

pumpkin patch

We finally found a day that none of us were sick and so we were able to go to the pumpkin patch. The kids and Benson played on this hay pyramid. It had tunnels they could crawl in. They had a lot of fun. Brooklyn at the top.
Out of the two family pictures this was the best one. are probably saying but yes it is true. I would love for Jeremy to cooperate once in a while.
Brooklyn finally found her perfect pumpkin.
searching and searching
Ryan with the pumpkins.
We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch. It was a nice little ride.
After we got the pumpkins we got to clean them.

Jeremy in heaven playing with water. We had a good time. It is so fun to watch each child pick their pumpkin. They get so excited when the find "the one."

Brooklyn's baptism

The day after the wedding we had Brooklyn's baptism. It worked out nicely that we could have it in Utah with our family and some good friends. It was such a special day. Brooklyn is such an amazing girl and I am glad she chose to be baptized. We love her so much. I can't imagine our family without her. Brooklyn and Dad

This is everyone that was at the baptism. Thanks for all the love and support from all of you. It means a lot to us and Brooklyn.

We love you Brooklyn and are so proud of the girl that you are!

my little family

I love my family.

the wedding

Don't they make such a cute couple. Cait was such a beautiful bride. Brooke and I got to go in and help Caitlin get ready to come out of the temple and so many women stopped me and told me how amazing she looked. She was definitely a head turner. Caitlin is going to be so embarrased that I put that but she really looked amazing! Hey Jared, you weren't too shabby yourself! You guys really do make a cute couple.

Ryan not wanting to cooperate. He did eventually but I loved this picture of him.
