Police Picture

Michelle has been out of town, so I thought that I would take this time to add a picture to her blog. This was taken about 4 weeks ago. These are the people that I have been working and living with since February. The good news is that we only have 4 more weeks and then we are done. Overall, it has been a good experience, but not one that I would like to repeat.

Tulip Festival

Tulips, tulips everywhere! Benson got off of work at 12:30 on Friday so we met him in Woodburn and then we drove to the Tulip Festival. The tulips were very pretty. It was pretty cool to see so many tulips.
These 3 tulips were my favorite.

easter eggs

Well I was officialy going to be a bad mom this Easter and not dye eggs. Well as I was talking in code to Adrienne about how I got away without having to dye eggs Brooklyn caught on. So in my bragging about getting away with something I got caught. I guess I could make it on the show about stupid criminals. Good thing that what I was or wasn't doing wasn't criminal. So on Wednesday (3 days after Easter) we colored Easter eggs. And of course the kids had a fun time.

Happy Easter!

This first picture is of the kids outside of our front door. We were getting ready to go to the first of four easter egg hunts they had this year. We had a easter egg hunt with our play group, then the apartment committee had one here at the apartments and then we got together with some friends and had one. Then of course the Easter Bunny also had to bring treats. These pictures are all from the first hunt. The kids of course had a blast at all of them. It is so fun to watch them run around collecting eggs. In the second picture sitting next to Brooklyn is her good friend Heidi. If you have talked to Brooklyn on the phone then you know all about Heidi. Jeremy loves her too. Whenever he sees her he yells her name. It is really cute. Heidi's sister Nicole is sitting next to her. The kids also love her.

a monumental week

Well it has been an exciting week for the kids. Jeremy decided that he wanted to start using the big boy potty. Although he doesn't want to use it consistently I still consider it to be a good start. He gets very excited when he poops. It is amazing how much kids enjoy the little things in life. As a parent I also consider it to be very exciting to have my child using the "big boy potty".

As for Brooklyn she got her first loose tooth today. At first she was very nervous about it until we got excited. Then she called all the grandparents. Of course all of them got excited also. After all that she now thinks it is pretty cool to have a loose tooth. I just can't believe that my baby is old enough to have a loose tooth. Not only that but my other baby is potty training. I guess it is time for another one! ;) Don't worry, it's not something we have even talked about yet!

Brooklyn's new bike

We went on Saturday and got Brooklyn a bike. We got it without her knowing. She was very excited when she saw it set up in the garage. She does very well at riding it. Jeremy also loves his bike which is Caton's old bike. We joke that Jeremy will be ready to have his training wheels off before Brooklyn is ready.

Here is the BIG news!

Well we have officially added a new member to our family by purchasing a minivan. Benson was very hesitant but then finally said, "I'm happy if your happy." Although a minivan is not my dream car it is definitely exciting to get. It is so nice to have some more space. So now we need to have visitors because we have a big enough townhome and a big enough vehicle.
