Big News!

Well we have some big news to announce. But you have to wait until Saturday. That is when I will have proof for all of you. So keep posted!

Also Brooklyn started T-ball and is loving it. I am going to take some pictures at her practice tomorrow night. She looks so cute out there on the field shagging the balls with all of her teammates.

I will talk to you soon!

The Zoo

Last Wednesday Benson didn't have to be to the academy until 1:00. So we got up early and took the kids to the zoo. We went to the new part of the zoo that we hadn't seen yet. There is a new bear exhibit. It was really cool to see them so close and the bald eagle we go to see really close also. There was not fence between us and the eagle. There is a viewing area you can go into. The new area was very natural and it was really cool. We had a good time.

Sunday Afternoon

On Sunday the kids wanted to go outside and draw with chalk. Jeremy didn't want his pants on after his last diaper change and then ran outside and grabbed the closest shoes possible. The shoes happened to be Brooklyn's flip flops. I told Benson to take a picture of him because he looked so ridiculous. I hope you find this picture as funny as I do.

Multnomah Falls

Today we went to Multnomah Falls. The first waterfall picture is of the top part Multnomah Falls. You can't fit it all in one shot. So you just get the top part. The other waterfall picture is of a different fall but I don't remember the name. It was really cool. As you can tell the kids also enjoyed some yummy ice cream. It was fun to do a little bit of hiking around. Benson and I want to go back and take the trail to the top of Multnomah Falls and do some of the other trails in the area. We went up the trail to the bridge that you see in the picture but it's far from the top. We are having a lot of fun with Laura here. Brooklyn will especially have a hard time when she leaves.

Cannon Beach

Laura came to visit for her birthday. On her big day we went to Cannon Beach. We had fun but it was really windy and rainy. So we didn't spend a lot of time out of the car. We also went to an aquarium in Seaside where we got to feed the seals. The seals would clap and splash water at you to get you to feed them. Benson got pretty wet. The kids were scared but it was a lot of fun. The last picture is of the kids holding a sand dollar. They had a touch tank. Jeremy had a lot of fun touching different sea creatures. Brooklyn would only touch the sand dollar. We had a really fun day.

park weather, yipee!

We took the kids to the park on Sunday afternoon. It was such a beautiful day. We also went for a walk and got to see some animals. We had a lot of fun. We have been really lucky, today is our third day in a row of really nice weather. The kids have been loving the time we have spent outside. Hopefully the weather will stay like this for a few more days. Laura is coming to visit and I am hoping to be able to do lots of outside things.

Birthday cake!

Brooklyn wanted to put "Go Mets" on Benson's cake. So we dyed the frosting orange and did what she wanted. The kids "helped" me make the cake. You can't really see them but the kids put sprinkles all over the cake. They were very excited.
